Hachette New Zealand propose chaque année depuis 5 ans un concours d'illustration. Cette année il fallait illustrer un poème de l'écrivaine néo-zélandaise Margaret Mahy appelé 17 rois et 42 éléphants.
Il fallait faire un storyboard pour un livre d'illustration de 23 pages et illustrer 2 doubles pages au format réel, à savoir 25x25 cm par page.
Voici ma proposition qui n'a malheureusement pas retenu l'attention du jury.
Every year for the past 5 years, Hachette New Zealand has organized an illustration competition. This year's challenge was to illustrate a poem by New Zealand writer Margaret Mahy called 17 Kings and 42 Elephants.
The task was to storyboard a 23-page illustration book and illustrate 2 double-page spreads in actual format, i.e. 25x25 cm per page.
